TRANSPARENCY
Affiliate Disclosure
How affiliate links may be used on Wildly Wandering.

OUR APPROACH
We believe in being transparent.
Wildly Wandering may use affiliate links in some articles, equipment guides, campsite recommendations and other content.
If you click an affiliate link and subsequently make a qualifying purchase or take another qualifying action, we may receive a commission from the company or affiliate programme.
This does not normally increase the price you pay.
What Is an Affiliate Link?
An affiliate link is a special link that allows a company or affiliate network to identify that a visitor came to its website from Wildly Wandering.
If that visit results in a qualifying purchase or other qualifying action, Wildly Wandering may receive a commission.
Our Recommendations
We aim to recommend products, services and places because we believe they may be useful or relevant to our readers.
The existence of an affiliate relationship does not mean that a product will automatically receive a positive recommendation.
Where appropriate, we will share our genuine experiences, opinions and reasons for recommending something.
How Affiliate Content Will Be Identified
Where content or links are connected to an affiliate relationship, we will make the commercial nature of that content clear to readers.
Depending on the content and where the affiliate links appear, this may include clear wording such as:
AD — This article contains affiliate links. We may earn a commission if you make a qualifying purchase through one of these links.
We may also identify individual affiliate recommendations or links as advertising where appropriate.
Affiliate Programmes
Amazon Associates: Wildly Wandering participates in the Amazon Associates Programme. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
Wildly Wandering may participate in affiliate programmes operated directly by brands, retailers, campsite providers, booking services or through affiliate networks.
The programmes we use may change over time. Where relevant, individual content will identify the commercial relationship.
Editorial Independence
We aim to keep our editorial opinions honest and useful to our readers.
Receiving a commission does not guarantee that we will recommend a product, service or destination.
Sponsored Content Is Different
Affiliate links are different from sponsored content or paid brand partnerships.
If Wildly Wandering receives payment, products, services, trips or another commercial benefit from a brand in exchange for content, we will provide an appropriate advertising or sponsorship disclosure.
Questions

Changes to This Disclosure
As Wildly Wandering grows, the affiliate programmes and commercial relationships we use may change.
We may update this disclosure when our approach or the services we use change.
Ethical collaboration standards
We will not knowingly accept affiliate or sponsored partnerships that promote animal cruelty, wildlife exploitation, avoidable damage to habitats, irresponsible tourism or discrimination. Commercial arrangements do not override our commitment to honest recommendations and responsible outdoor practices.
Any paid partnership, gifted item or affiliate relationship will be disclosed clearly where relevant. We may refuse or end partnerships that do not align with our values.
