Using the website

Wildly Wandering provides outdoor inspiration, personal experiences, guides, location information and related resources. You may browse and use the website for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Content

Unless otherwise stated, the articles, photographs, graphics, branding and other original material on Wildly Wandering belong to Wildly Wandering or are used with permission. Please do not reproduce, republish or commercially use our original content without permission.

Outdoor information can change. Route conditions, access, facilities, opening hours, prices, weather and other details may change after publication. Always use your own judgement and check current information before setting out.

Free digital guides

Some Wildly Wandering guides are available as free digital downloads. To request a free guide, you must provide a valid email address and confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

Free guides are provided for personal, non-commercial use. You may download and use a guide for your own personal purposes, but you must not copy, reproduce, republish, resell, redistribute, upload, share publicly or commercially exploit the guide or its contents without our written permission.

All copyright and other intellectual property rights in Wildly Wandering guides remain with Wildly Wandering or the relevant rights holder unless otherwise stated. We may update, replace or withdraw a free guide at any time.

We will use the email address you provide to deliver the guide you requested. Any separate marketing emails, such as newsletters, new-guide announcements or website updates, will only be sent where you have separately opted in to receive them. Routine guide-delivery emails are not marketing emails.

Always check current specialist mountain weather forecasts, including the Met Office and Mountain Weather Information Service (MWIS) when appropriate, and be ready to change or abandon plans if conditions are unsafe.

Wildly Wandering supports responsible outdoor access, wildlife welfare, environmental protection and respect for local communities. We will not knowingly promote, endorse or work with organisations or activities that involve animal cruelty, wildlife exploitation, avoidable environmental harm, discrimination or other practices contrary to these values.

We may decline or end a collaboration if we discover that it conflicts with these standards. We encourage everyone using our guides to follow applicable access rules, respect wildlife and habitats, leave places as they found them, and dispose of waste responsibly.
