About An Caisteal
An Caisteal is a striking Munro rising above Glen Falloch near Crianlarich, distinguished by its rugged ridges and castle-like rocky summit. The popular ascent follows the winding crest of Twistin Hill, offering spectacular views across Loch Lomond, neighbouring mountains and the southern Highlands. Often climbed alongside Beinn a' Chròin, the route combines grassy slopes, rocky steps and impressive mountain scenery. Its distinctive profile and rewarding ridge walk make An Caisteal a memorable Highland adventure.
