About Beinn a' Bhùird

Beinn a' Bhùird rises above Glen Quoich in the eastern Cairngorms, its vast summit plateau bordered by dramatic cliffs and deep corries. The approach follows ancient Caledonian pinewoods before climbing a restored mountain path onto high, open ground. From the summit, sweeping views extend towards Ben Avon, Beinn Mheadhoin and the central Cairngorms. Remote Garbh Choire and the striking Coire an Dubh-lochain reveal the rugged beauty of this enormous mountain and its remarkable wilderness setting.
