About Beinn Bhreac

Beinn Bhreac rises above Glen Derry in the eastern Cairngorms, its twin rounded tops overlooking ancient pinewoods and remote Highland glens. Often climbed with Beinn a' Chaorainn, the mountain is reached from Linn of Dee via Derry Lodge before ascending open, stony slopes. The sweeping Moine Bhealaidh plateau separates the two summits, creating a wild and spacious landscape. From the cairn, walkers enjoy spectacular views towards Derry Cairngorm, Ben Macdui and the surrounding granite mountains.
