About Beinn Bhrotain

Beinn Bhrotain rises above Glen Dee in the remote southern Cairngorms, its broad granite summit overlooking the deep trench of Glen Geusachan. Often climbed with neighbouring Monadh Mòr, this mountain rewards walkers with sweeping views towards Cairn Toul, Braeriach, the Devil's Point and distant Deeside hills. The approach crosses pinewoods, open moorland and the vast Moine Mhòr plateau before finishing among extensive boulderfields. Its remarkable isolation creates a memorable wilderness experience for experienced Highland hillwalkers.
