About Ben Lomond

Ben Lomond is one of Scotland’s most popular Munros, rising above the eastern shores of beautiful Loch Lomond. Beginning at Rowardennan, the well-established mountain path climbs through woodland and open hillside towards a spectacular summit. On clear days, walkers enjoy sweeping views across the loch, its islands and the surrounding Highlands. As Scotland’s most southerly Munro, Ben Lomond offers a memorable introduction to mountain walking, with rewarding scenery throughout the climb and descent in Scotland.
