About Ben Macdui

Ben Macdui is Scotland’s second-highest mountain, rising from the vast wilderness of the Cairngorms National Park. Its expansive summit plateau offers a remarkable sense of remoteness, surrounded by dramatic corries, rocky slopes and sweeping Highland scenery. Often climbed alongside Cairn Gorm, the mountain rewards walkers with spectacular views across neighbouring peaks and the Lairig Ghru. Steeped in legends of the mysterious Grey Man, Ben Macdui combines fascinating folklore, breathtaking landscapes and unforgettable mountain adventure.
