About Ben Vane

Ben Vane is a rugged Munro nestled within the spectacular Arrochar Alps, overlooking Loch Sloy and the surrounding Highland mountains. Despite being Scotland’s lowest Munro, its steep rocky slopes provide a surprisingly challenging ascent. The route begins near Inveruglas, following peaceful glen tracks before climbing towards a distinctive summit. Walkers are rewarded with breathtaking views across neighbouring peaks, dramatic valleys and distant lochs, making Ben Vane a memorable adventure in Scotland’s beautiful southern Highlands.
