About Ben Vorlich (Loch Lomond)

Ben Vorlich rises to 943 metres above the western shores of Loch Lomond, offering spectacular views across Scotland's Southern Highlands. Its rugged summit overlooks the Arrochar Alps, Ben Lomond and the surrounding lochs and glens. The ascent from Inveruglas passes through forestry before climbing increasingly steep, rocky slopes and open hillside. Although moderately rated, boggy sections, exposed terrain and changing mountain weather provide a rewarding challenge for walkers seeking beautiful scenery and memorable Highland adventures.
