About Càrn a' Chlamain

Càrn a' Chlamain rises above Glen Tilt in the Atholl hills, its stony summit crowning a broad and remote Highland plateau. The approach from Blair Atholl follows the beautiful River Tilt past wooded slopes, old bridges and open glen scenery before climbing onto the mountain. From the summit cairn, walkers enjoy wide views across Beinn a' Ghlò, the Cairngorms and surrounding ridges. Its long approach and peaceful setting make this an especially rewarding Perthshire Munro.
