About Càrn Mairg
Càrn Mairg is the highest summit of the four Munros forming the sweeping Glen Lyon horseshoe above Invervar. Its rocky summit contrasts with the broad grassy ridges connecting Càrn Gorm, Meall Garbh and Meall na Aighean. The mountain offers spectacular views towards Schiehallion, Loch Rannoch and the Ben Lawers range. Its remote upper slopes, impressive boulder fields and peaceful surroundings make this a rewarding highlight of one of Perthshire's finest mountain walking circuits.
