About Càrn nan Gabhar

Càrn nan Gabhar is the highest summit of the Beinn a' Ghlò massif above Blair Atholl. Its stony crest crowns a sweeping traverse across three Munros, beginning with Càrn Liath and continuing over Bràigh Coire Chruinn-bhalgain. The final climb opens magnificent views towards Glen Tilt, the Cairngorms and the remote hills of the Mounth. Broad ridges, sculpted corries and a striking sense of space make this one of Perthshire's most truly rewarding and memorable mountain days.
