About Càrn Sgulain

Càrn Sgulain is a remote Munro in the rolling Monadhliath mountains, northwest of Newtonmore in the Scottish Highlands. Its broad grassy summit and expansive moorland plateau offer a wonderful sense of space and solitude. Often climbed alongside neighbouring A' Chailleach and Càrn Dearg, the mountain forms part of a rewarding circuit across remote Highland terrain. On clear days, walkers enjoy sweeping views towards the Cairngorms, distant glens and the peaceful landscapes of Badenoch and beyond.
