About Cairn Bannoch
Cairn Bannoch stands at 1,012 metres within the remote White Mounth plateau of the Cairngorms National Park. Surrounded by expansive mountain wilderness, this rocky Munro lies close to Broad Cairn and the dramatic cliffs overlooking Dubh Loch. Its broad summit offers sweeping views across the eastern Highlands, including neighbouring Munros and distant glens. Often climbed alongside Broad Cairn, the mountain provides a challenging adventure through rugged, exposed terrain, rewarding experienced walkers with solitude and spectacular Highland scenery.
