About Cairn of Claise
Cairn of Claise is a broad, rounded Munro on the high Glenshee plateau in the southern Cairngorms. Its open slopes, stony summit and old boundary wall give the mountain a distinctive character. Often climbed with Càrn an Tuirc, Glas Maol and Creag Leacach, it forms part of a rewarding four-Munro circuit. On clear days, walkers enjoy expansive views across the Angus Glens, neighbouring ridges and the sweeping mountain landscape of the eastern Highlands year round.
