About Chno Dearg
Chno Dearg rises above Fersit near Loch Treig, forming a scenic mountain pair with neighbouring Stob Coire Sgriodain. Its broad grassy slopes and rounded summit contrast with the rocky ridges and dramatic corries of its western neighbour. The popular circuit crosses remote moorland, passes high mountain lochans and offers sweeping views towards Glen Spean, Loch Laggan and the distant Grey Corries. Its peaceful setting and open Highland landscapes make this a particularly rewarding mountain adventure.
