About Derry Cairngorm

Derry Cairngorm rises above Glen Derry in the heart of the Cairngorms, its enormous granite summit offering sweeping views across Britain's highest mountain range. Reached from Linn of Dee through beautiful pinewoods and remote glens, the ascent follows broad ridges scattered with boulders. Often climbed alongside Ben Macdui, it reveals dramatic views into Coire Uaine and across the high plateau. Its wild setting, rugged geology and sense of remoteness make this a memorable Highland adventure.
