About Geal-chàrn (Alder)

Geal-chàrn rises above the remote Ben Alder wilderness, forming the highest summit on the sweeping ridge connecting Càrn Dearg, Aonach Beag and Beinn Èibhinn. Its broad grassy plateau contrasts with the dramatic Lancet Edge, a striking rocky ridge overlooking Loch an Sgòir. Reached after a long journey through secluded Highland glens, the summit rewards walkers with magnificent views of Ben Alder, Loch Ericht and surrounding peaks. Its isolation makes this a particularly memorable mountain adventure.
