About Geal chàrn (Laggan)
Geal Chàrn rises above the Ardverikie Estate south of Loch Laggan, forming a broad and remote Highland summit between Beinn a' Chlachair and Creag Pitridh. Its Gaelic name means White Hill, reflecting the pale appearance of its upper slopes. Approached beside Lochan na h-Earba, the mountain offers sweeping views towards Ben Alder, Creag Meagaidh and surrounding ridges. Combined with its two neighbours, it provides a memorable journey through wild scenery, open moorland and striking corries.
