About Mayar
Mayar is a beautiful Munro rising above Glen Doll in Scotland’s picturesque Angus Glens. Its popular walking route passes through enchanting woodland before entering the spectacular glacial amphitheatre of Corrie Fee, complete with dramatic cliffs and cascading waterfalls. Beyond the corrie, open moorland leads towards a broad summit offering expansive Highland views. Often climbed alongside neighbouring Driesh, Mayar provides a rewarding mountain adventure combining peaceful forests, fascinating landscapes and wonderful opportunities to experience Scotland’s natural beauty.
