About Meall a' Bhùiridh
Meall a' Bhùiridh rises above Glencoe Mountain Resort at the edge of Rannoch Moor, its broad rocky summit offering sweeping views across the Black Mount and Glen Etive. Its Gaelic name evokes the bellowing of red deer during the autumn rut. The usual walk climbs past the ski slopes before crossing a dramatic connecting ridge to Creise. Despite the ski infrastructure below, the upper mountain reveals steep corries, rugged ridges and magnificent Highland scenery throughout the journey.
