About Meall Chuaich
Meall Chuaich is a peaceful Munro rising above the Drumochter Pass, east of Dalwhinnie in the Scottish Highlands. Its rounded grassy slopes and broad summit provide expansive views across Badenoch, Strathspey and neighbouring mountain ranges. The popular route follows an aqueduct and estate tracks before climbing through open heather moorland. With a relatively straightforward ascent, quiet surroundings and rewarding panoramas, Meall Chuaich offers an enjoyable Highland walking experience away from busier mountain destinations in Scotland.
