About Meall Glas
Meall Glas rises above Glen Dochart in the southern Highlands, its rounded summit and long grassy ridges overlooking quiet glens and distant mountain ranges. Often climbed alongside Sgiath Chùil, the route crosses open moorland, steep slopes and the subsidiary summit of Beinn Cheathaich. From the cairn, walkers can enjoy spectacular wide views towards Ben More, Ben Challum and the hills around Glen Lochay. Its secluded setting offers a rewarding escape into Scotland's beautiful mountain landscapes.
