About Sàil Chaorainn
Sàil Chaorainn rises above the remote landscapes of Kintail, forming the northernmost Munro of the Sgùrr nan Conbhairean group. Its broad, grassy summit stands at 1,002 metres, offering spectacular views towards Glen Affric, Loch Cluanie and the surrounding Highland mountains. Connected to neighbouring summits by an exposed ridge, this relatively secluded peak provides a memorable mountain experience. Often climbed alongside two nearby Munros, Sàil Chaorainn rewards walkers with expansive panoramas, peaceful surroundings and beautiful Highland wilderness scenery.
