About Sgòr Gaoith
Sgòr Gaoith rises above Glen Feshie on the western edge of the Cairngorms, its dramatic summit perched above sheer cliffs plunging towards Loch Einich. The approach winds through beautiful Caledonian pinewoods before emerging onto a vast, open plateau. From the summit, walkers enjoy extraordinary views across the loch to Braeriach and the surrounding mountains. A return via Meall Buidhe and Geal Chàrn adds variety, with rocky tops, open moorland and spectacular sweeping Highland scenery throughout.
