About Stùcd an Lochain
Stùcd an Lochain rises above Loch an Dàimh at the western end of beautiful Glen Lyon in Perthshire. Its steep initial ascent leads onto an open ridge overlooking the dramatic corrie and secluded Lochan nan Cat. From the summit, walkers enjoy sweeping views across the reservoir, neighbouring hills and distant Highland mountains. With its peaceful setting, scenic ridge and rewarding panoramas, this Munro offers a memorable mountain walk away from Scotland’s busier summits all year.
