About Stob Coire Easain

Stob Coire Easain is the higher of the two Easains, rising above Loch Treig in the remote mountains east of Fort William. Its steep, stony summit forms a striking contrast with neighbouring Stob a' Choire Mheadhoin. The traverse between them offers magnificent views over the Grey Corries, Rannoch Moor and the Nevis range. Approached from Fersit by a long ridge, this impressive Munro rewards walkers with spectacular Highland scenery and a particularly memorable sense of remoteness.
