About Tolmount
Tolmount rises to 958 metres within the remote eastern Cairngorms, surrounded by expansive moorland, rolling hills and rugged Highland wilderness. Its broad, grassy summit offers panoramic views across the Angus Glens and neighbouring mountains. Often climbed alongside Tom Buidhe, this secluded Munro provides a memorable walking experience through peaceful mountain scenery. Despite its relatively gentle slopes, the lengthy approach, exposed plateau and occasionally boggy terrain make Tolmount a rewarding challenge for walkers exploring Scotland's beautiful Cairngorms National Park.
